This program invites families to explore Gyotaku, the traditional Japanese art of fish printing through a fun, hands-on creative activity. Using detailed rubber fish models, participants will learn printing techniques that highlight the textures and shapes of marine animals. Rice paper will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring their own cloth items, such as t-shirts, for printing. As you experiment with color and composition, you will discover the beauty of marine life while creating unique, takeāhome artwork. Wearing paint-friendly clothing is recommended.
