Guy's Cliffe Spring Open Day 2026
Organised by Bring Back Guys Cliffe and The Guy of Warwick Society.
Join us for a brilliant day out at Guy's Cliffe Spring Open Day 2026!
Explore beautiful gardens of this hidden gem, historic spots, and enjoy the fresh spring air in person. It’s the perfect chance to soak up nature as Spring bursts into life, meet fellow enthusiasts, and have a relaxing time.
Don’t miss this fun and friendly event – lots to see and do.
The Guys Cliffe grounds are 8 acres of “managed” wilderness on the banks of the River Avon, cared for by volunteers and maintained by charity donations. It is a wonderful haven for wildlife.
Guys Cliffe is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and it has been occupied since at least the 5th century.
Highlights include:
· Decorate a pebble to place at the foot of our Cedar of Lebanon tree ("Cedric")
· View willow fencing by the riverbank
· Participate in Tarot card readings and dousing,
. court jester
· Take photos in the chapel with the statue of Guy
. Refreshments will be available for a small charge
Please note the footpaths are uneven, and the ramp walkway down the cliff is very steep
Lots more to see and do, but most of all enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the spring flowers. See you there! Dogs are welcome on a short lead.
It is Free to enter but donations are very welcome as we are fund raising to provide additional community facilities. . Please bring cash if you can.
