GUYS AND DOLLS Opens at Dearborn High Theatre

An American Classic, GUYS AND DOLLS, opens at Dearborn High School Theatre on Wednesday, April 22nd at 7:30 pm with additional performances running Thursday thru Saturday, April 23rd, 24th, and 25th also at 7:30 pm.
Often called the greatest musical comedy ever written, Guys and Dolls focuses on the writer Damon Runyon's classic New York stories about the gamblers "Sky Masterson" and "Nathan Detroit" and their love interests missionary "Sarah Brown" and showgirl "Miss Adelaide, centered around Nathan Detroit's illegal floating crap game.
With Frank Loesser's timeless musical score, the show features such songs as "Fugue for Tin Horns", "I've Never Been in Love Before", "If I Were a Bell" and "Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat".
The cast of 30 features senior Christos Andreou as "Sky Masterson with senior Gio Bitonit and junior Robert Milligan double cast in the role of "Nathan Detroit", seniors Eva Hammoud and Ameena Toumi double cast in the role "Miss Adelaide" and junior Annette Jakubowicz and freshman Aislinn O'Neil double cast as "Sarah Brown". Senior Jesse Good plays the role of Nicely-Nicely Johnson, senior Jack Rutledge takes on the role of Benny Southstreet, junior Layla Salmassi is Arivde Abernathy and sophomore Sophia Lamb and freshman Lillyan Schroeder are double cast as General Cartwright.
Milligan, Toumi, Jakubowicz, and Schroeder perform their leading roles on April 22nd and 214th while Bitonti, Hammoud, O'Neil, and Lamb perform their leading roles on April 23rd and 25th.
Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 college students with I.D. and $10 for all students 18 and under and senior citizens 65 years and up. Group rates for 12 or more are available.
