GUS® celebration of 70 YEARS OF DANCE EDUCATION begins with in-house performance on March 4 @ 5:00pm!
Join us as we begin our celebration of 70 YEARS OF DANCE EDUCATION! Founded by Gus & Peg Giordano in 1953, GUS® has always been family run and continues under the direction of their daughter Amy Giordano, who is honored to continue her parent’s legacy.
Gus Giordano is known as a master teacher, choreographer, author, producer, Broadway performer, and the Godfather of Jazz Dance. Gus taught thousands of dancers all over the world including Patrick Swayze, Ann Margaret, Judi Missett (Founder Jazzercise), Gregory Hines, just to name a few. Gus won an Emmy for his piece The Rehearsal which aired on PBS.
Kick-Off Show features signature Gus Giordano choreography and performers include dancers from the Gus Legacy Company, GUS® Pre-Professional Company and GUS® Company.
