Gunner Lee is the rock alter ego of LA Based Korean American musician Sean 이건용 Lee. Having played as a session guitarist for years, Lee sought to bring out the rawness and loud guitars that he felt sometimes was missing from his role as a supporting musician. This goal culminated in his first project 2022’s ‘Imposter Syndrome’ an EP/ visual album rooted in Y2K aesthetics, Brit Pop, and garage rock stylings. He currently is an avid presence in Los Angeles’ live music scene and can be found playing with his band all around the city multiple nights a month. A live compilation entitled SoCal cuts was released in December of 2023 capturing a punk bootleg ethos to live recordings.
