3rd Street Coffeehouse is happy to partner again with the City of Roanoke Parks and Recreation team again this winter to host our Guitars Under The Star Guitar Pull and Jam sessions at the Discovery Center on Mill Mountain.We welcome anyone and everyone to join us, either as a player or a listener. We typically have everyone from touring professions to people who are just beginning to play in front of other people. It's low stress, high acceptance and an encouraging group of folks who just love music. It is all acoustic because it isn't set up for electric anything. Anything with strings works, as long as it doesn't require an amplifier. Harmonicas are great too (hello Gretch). Cover songs are fine, as are original songs (we have lots of songwriters show up).
We do ask that everyone respect everyone else health wise. In otherwords, we want you to share your music, not your germs. If you aren't feeling well, please stay where you are and come another time
