Event Overview:
Celebrate Father's Day with the whole family at the Boogerville Hideout Bar on Saturday, June 20th, during the 5th Annual Jumpin & Jivin Juneboree from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Enjoy an afternoon filed with magical memorable moments as families gather for a FREE, family-friendly celebration packed with fun and festivities.
Guitars for Kids Rising Stars (501c3) is seeking support from the local community as we partner with Paul Wane Music and DCL / Duval County Line for our twelfth family-focused event.
Purpose:
Our mission is to provide quality instruments to anyone with a desire to create music, inspiring creativity and building unity across generations. Over time, we have gifted more than four hundred complete instrument kits (aka rigs) to individuals aged 4 to 92, while spreading joy to countless souls. We envision communities united by the magic of music, where everyone has a platform to highlight their talent and realize their dreams.
Rising Stars Recognition:
Twice a year, Guitars for Kids invites our Rising Stars to return and showcase their talents. This event gives performers the opportunity to take the stage—whether as solo acts, bands, or alongside fellow musicians—for a true live performance experience. More than two dozen Rising Stars have confirmed their participation and will perform, sharing the day with their peers, families, and friends.
Event Activities and Offerings:
The first 250 guests will receive complimentary repurposed T-shirt Guitars for Kids Swag Bag, valued at $30. Each bag includes a ukulele, harmonica, custom event T-shirt, and additional surprises, making it a special gift for attendees.
Throughout the celebration, guests can participate in a wide array of engaging activities designed for family enjoyment. These include bounce houses, a tie-dye station, reptile encounters, performances by a magician, yard games, and water balloon battles. The event offers many other exciting opportunities to ensure a memorable experience for all.
Every child present will receive a free meal, highlighting the event's dedication to fostering an inclusive and friendly atmosphere for families.
In addition to the fun activities, over a dozen new or refurbished instrument kits will be gifted to youth, adults facing unique challenges, and veterans in the community as we create new Rising Stars.
Supporting Guitars for Kids:
There are multiple ways you can support Guitars for Kids Rising Stars—whether financial, in-kind, or through volunteering your time—to create a positive impact while making dreams a reality for those who believe.
Sponsorship, donations, and volunteer engagement are critical to our success. Financial support directly underwrites event activities, complete instrument packages, youth T-shirts, toy instruments, and assorted gadgets and gizmos. We offer sponsorship opportunities tailored for individuals, organizations, and businesses.
All sponsors will be acknowledged on the reverse side of 250 limited-edition custom T-shirts, with additional recognition based on their level of contribution:
• Title Sponsor: $5,000
• Platinum Sponsor: $2,500
• Gold Sponsor: $1,000
• Silver Sponsor: $500
• Bronze Sponsor: $250
All contributions help strengthen our efforts and benefit the communities we serve. Donors can make financial contributions through Venmo (Guitars4Kids) or CashApp ($Guitars4Kids). We are happy to receive donations of toy ukuleles, harmonicas, gadgets, gizmos, coupons, and other giveaway items for our repurposed T-shirt Swag bags. We also welcome donations of musical instruments and items for raffles.
Join Us as a Vendor or Volunteer:
Young people, older adults, and entrepreneurs with unique challenges are invited to make use of complimentary vendor spaces to offer their products and run activities at their booths. Volunteers, or "Earth Angels," help with a variety of activities, especially those who can help guide energetic children throughout the day.
