Discover the plants and animals that like the wet and wild side of life as we walk along the Deep River Trail! We will meander along the Piedmont Environmental Center's only permanent stream, get up close to a beaver dam and scan High Point City Lake for herons, ducks and kingfishers as we hike along the shoreline trail.
We will meet at the Jamestown Park and Golf Course entrance (7041 E. Fork Road, Jamestown) promptly at 10 a.m. to begin our adventure.
Participants need to dress for outdoor adventure and bring water.
