An lovely walk along the River Wey, Shalford, the Chantries and Pewley Down.Join Discover Guildford walk leader and North Downs Way Ambassador, Pete Lambert on this lovely 5 mile hike on the surrounding beauty spots just outside of Guildford Town centre
Leaving from the town we take the river towards Shalford before going through fields and the lovely Chantry woods to take in the splendid views of Pewley Down.
This walk is 5 miles of lovely easy going footpaths and a slight incline at the end to get up to Pewley.
Bring with you fluids and nibbles as well as weather suitable footwear and clothing. Please also bring with you hand sanitiser and your facemask if you feel uncomfortable without it in a socially distanced group setting
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
Please also note that due to government advice this walk could be cancelled at anytime but a full refund will be given in the case of this.
