Join our Forest Rangers for a 2.5-hour stroll around the Dorsington Arboretum and surrounding woodlands, where fresh greenery, budding blossoms, and the vibrant sights and sounds of wildlife bring the forest to life.Starting from some of our oldest plantations, established in the early days of the charity, you’ll follow permissive pathways and public rights of way, soaking in the magic of the forest as it awakens after winter. Along the way, Sam and Lauren will share fascinating insights into native and international tree species, highlight seasonal changes like new leaves and early flowers, and introduce you to the wildlife thriving at this time of year.
With over 600 tree species from around the world, the Arboretum offers a truly unique glimpse into the diversity of life that flourishes in spring. Whether you’re a nature lover, photography enthusiast, or simply looking for a peaceful outdoor escape, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the season.
