Explore the city's history on a spring ramble.Join walk leaders Janet and Steven as you head from Crook Hall Gardens to Durham University's Oriental Museum, discovering the city's history as you go.
Circular route, approximately 4 miles/6.5km.
Includes a 20 minute visit to give you a flavour of the museum (free entry).
This is a free event, but booking is essential. You can book either online via the link below, or by calling 0344 249 1895. Walk-ins will be accepted on the day if capacity allows.
Suitable for children aged 10+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet in Crook Hall Gardens car park. Parking £3.30 up to 3 hours, free for National Trust members. Please leave your reg no. at admissions if you'd like to stay longer to visit the gardens or café.
Sturdy walking shoes/boots, waterproofs and warm layers to suit changeable weather advised. Please bring a drink, plus a snack if needed.
The route is on surfaced footpaths and includes some gentle inclines and road crossings.
