About this Event
Join walk leaders Gary and Geri to celebrate Toronto Ravine Days with a moderately paced walk in our local ravine. Our goal is to walk to a good spot to view the salmon, which swim up the East Don River at this time of year to spawn. As we walk through the forest we'll look for birds that are typical to this area, as well as birds that might be migrating through our area at this time of year. We'll also learn about trees and why they change colour in the fall and about the Bayview Village Turtle Stewards program. Registration is required and spaces are limited.
PLEASE NOTE
Pre-registration is required. Portions of the walk are not paved and have uneven terrain. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
