About this Event
Admission: Free (pre-registration is required)
Venue: National University of Singapore (NUS), 4 Architecture Drive, Singapore 117566
Organiser(s): National University of Singapore (NUS) - Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (NUS-SERIS) and University Campus Infrastructure (NUS-UCI)
Jointly organised by NUS-SERIS and NUS-UCI, this programme invites members of the public to an exclusive rooftop tour of the latest solar photovoltaic (PV) installation at the College of Design and Engineering (SDE3 building), National University of Singapore.
Participants will enjoy both a rare bird’s-eye view of the full PV array and a close-up look at the different types of high-efficiency solar panels installed. The programme also includes a talk by the project managers, who will share the design concepts behind the PV installation and how AI is increasingly used to monitor PV performance and flag anomalies early, so issues can be addressed quickly.
If you are considering installing solar PV on your home, this is a valuable chance to learn practical insights on PV system design, installation, and maintenance from the NUS experts.
This activity is open for all* - adults and children above 12 years old (accompanied by an adult).
* Apologies that we are unable to provide wheelchair friendly arrangement.
Due to limited capacity, registration for this guided tour will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
In the event of wet weather, participants will be notified by whatsapp message (from Mui Koon, by 8.00 am) and the tour will be postponed to 2 June 2026, Monday, 9-11.30 am.
