The Unitarian Universalist Church of Staten Island is an eclectic Queen Anne church built in 1895 and designed by young upstart architect Frank H. Quimby. The congregation has been meeting since 1851, and its politically-active members were instrumental in the Abolitionist movement, underground railroad, and reform movements of the 19th and 20thcentury. This tour offers a detailed view of this small church and the outsized impact it has had on Staten Island, New York, and the United States.
