About this Event
Heart of Pembrokeshire project invites you to join a guided tour of Haverfordwest Castle to find out more about development plans for the site.
Meet at the Castle gates for a tour of current works on the site by site contractors Morgan Sindall. You will also be led by a member of the Heart of Pembrokeshire project team who can talk about the plans to create a new visitor attraction telling the story of Pembrokeshire's past and potential future in the refurbished Gaol building, using innovative technology and interactive displays.
Maximum 14 people allowed on each tour so booking is essential. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please only book if you are definitely intending to come. Please wear sturdy shoes/boots (open toes are strictly forbidden) and clothes which fully cover your legs. All other PPE will be provided. Access is being improved as part of the project. however, for this tour you will need to be able to walk a reasonable distance. Parking is NOT available on site. Nearest car park is Castle Lake Car Park.

The project is being led by Pembrokeshire County Council and partner Haverfordwest Castle CIO with the support of an active community stakeholder group. It has been in the making for over 10 years and is now starting to come to fruition. Come along and witness the transformation.
