About this Event

Join us in the winter solstice and at the turning of the seasons for an artist-led walk with resident artist Farah Marie Velten. A multi-sensory stroll at NCL and will be an invitation for participants to connect with the environment that the sanctuary of NCL offers and connect with each other. This activity will be a glimpse into some of the things Farah is working on during her residency at the Naval Cemetery Landscape. Farah will guide us to be present for the changing of seasons and a mark our time on the winter solstice with a collective experience.
BGI will provide small journals to use and take home but please feel free to bring your own journal and writing/art supplies if desired to note observations. Dress with warm layers as this is an outdoor only event.
