This is a challenging beginner guided hike, or easy intermediate. Located close to Canmore, the views will knock your socks off!Wind Ridge Trail- 8km round trip and 400m of elevation gain. It is a challenging beginner Or a easy intermediate- be prepared for some elevation gain. We are doing Wind Ridge trail just to the lookout point. Lots of variety- some nice streams and bridges at the start in a forested area, then it opens up into a beautiful meadow with lots of wildflowers. You get your elevation all in the last 1.5 km to the top; It’s a steady incline, but the views at the end are SO worth it. As we hit the top of the view point you are surrounded by stunning views !
We are not doing any scrambling or the ridge climb. This hike is very possible for a beginner hiker.

-Your guide will also bring bear safety information, bear spray and first aid kit.
Your hiking guide's priority is having a safe, fun and informative tour that connects you more to where you are visiting. Hiking time is between 4-6 hours which includes lots of time for lunch and photos. Please note that you must have sturdy footwear and we recommend dressing in layers to adapt to constant weather changes; it gets windy at the top! A full gear list will be supplied to all hikers 7-10 days prior to the event.

Emergency Policy: It is our policy to have emergency and medical information on each hiker that is logged with a check in person . Each hiker must ensure that all their medical information and emergency contact information is correct and up to date for each hike.
