Join Zach Weekley on October 12th at 10am for a guided hike! He will be leading a hike on the Lake Trail that circles around Double Oak Lake. For this hike we expect to see incredible fall foliage as October is historically the time we start to see the leaves change from greens to oranges/yellows/ambers. Did we mention cooler temps?? This is a hike you won't want to miss!Hike Overview:
Easy/Beginner hike with a gorgeous view of Double Oak Lake, 3.5 miles round trip, and it should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. The hike is open to all ages but the trail is not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Well-behaved Dogs welcome but must stay on a leash.
Meet your Guide: Zachary Weekley
Zach lives in Hoover with his wife Kristi and dog Max. He enjoys hiking, camping, and reading and spends as much time he can in the woods! Zach has a servants heart and is excited to host a guided hike for the park! He is a trusted guide and has led many hikes for the park.
