About this Event

Please join us for our annual fundraising event on November 6th at the Aga Khan Museum in support of an organisation that is near and dear to us: The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program in Toronto (more info below.)

For this event, the Museum has curated an intimate, one-hour guided tour that will highlight its unique and stunning architecture with a focus on the element of Light.

Light refreshments will be served and following the Architecture Tour you will have the opportunity to explore the many exhibitions on your own time.

The tour will focus on the inspiration behind the architectural features of the building, designed by Fumihiko Maki, and particularly how the element of light is represented throughout the Museum. The Museum features both traditional and contemporary elements of Islamic architecture and the tour will also highlight the juxtaposition between the two in the Museum Atrium, Bellerive Room, and the Permanent Collection.

About The Parent Child Mother Goose Program:
This wonderful organisation offers free programming to parents and their infants fostering early connection and bonding through rhyme, story and song. The PCMG program is powerful in its simplicity and the organisation itself has a long history of running successful programs in vulnerable communities across the City of Toronto. The programs are always for free for families to attend and as such are supported entirely by grants and donations from people like you.

We are thrilled to present this event as our annual fundraiser for 2024, and we’d love it if you would join us in support of the PCMG organisation and the families it serves.

Please register by October 31st.

* All ticket holders will receive a tax donation receipt of $75.

**If you are unable to attend the event but would still like to support the organisation, you may use the same Eventbrite link to make a donation.

Please share the registration link and information with anyone you think would be interested in joining us and supporting the PCMG organisation.

We thank you in advance for your support and we look forward to spending time with friends and family of our board members, in a lovely space, while supporting such a great cause!
