About this Event
Derbáil is a comedy performer, writer, and educator specializing in longform improv, sketch comedy, and character-driven immersive storytelling. She is is an alumna of The Second City Conservatory Toronto and has trained with Upright Citizens Brigade, Improv Theatre Sydney, Bad Dog Theatre, Keith Johnstone and The Stella Adler Studio.
Derbáil has performed with improv house teams at Improv Theatre Sydney, The Second City, and Bad Dog Theatre Company in Toronto.
Requirement: Participants must have completed a LV2 Improv course or equivalent.
Sunday 2 - 5: The Power of Silence
A workshop focused on building confidence in silence and trusting what your body, behaviour, and presence communicate onstage. Become more comfortable letting moments breathe and learn how silence can build tension, reveal relationships, heighten comedy, and create authentic connection with your scene partner and audience.
