About this Event
The fourth installment in our breakfast series is a really exciting dive into traditional Guatemalan cuisine, but with each dish taking on a disctintive flair inspired by Chef Yesenia's experience as a first generation American. Fresh tostadas topped with guacamole and bright citrus and spices is a wonderful stand-in for the classic (and a little tired) avocado toast, and Chef Yessi's banana pancakes may seem familiar but the fresh fruit toppings made in class (think guava and mango jam) turn a classic into something brand new and exciting! To make sure you're ready for the day and not a nap, Chef Yessi will kick off class with a holistic fresh juice made with beets, ginger, and much more.
The Class:
Nibble cooking class are designed to be hands-on and interactive! Come ready to roll up your sleeves and jump right into the kitchen with Chef Yessi to learn step-by-step from the expert. When the meal is complete we will all sit down together and share the meal we have collectively created and learn more about Chef Yessi and Guatemalan cuisine and culture.
The Menu:
Crispy Tostadas with Guacamole, Fried Eggs, Queso Fresca and Beet Crema.
