As CEO and President of the Michelle Obama Academy of Arts & Humanities and a two-time graduate of a Historically Black University, Grambling State University, I am proud to welcome you to the HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Experience, on September 28, 2023, at the Dallas Independent School District, Dallas, Texas.
I am pleased to have partnered with the Dallas Independent School District’s Counseling Services Team in organizing this important event. We recognize that every student has potential, and we are committed to ensuring every Dallas ISD high school student and surrounding North Dallas community and abroad have the opportunity to actively explore the available resources and financial support the HBCUs have to offer in hopes of preparing each aspiring high school graduate of the Class of 2024 for their future.
Please accept our invitation to attend this year’s exciting event. OVER 30 + HBCUs are in attendance. Come and meet Dr. Tomikia P. LeGrande, Ed.D., the ninth president of Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU).
