Welcome to the Glass Society of Ireland Members' Education Day!
Join us online to attend a talk by Sheena Barrett, Head of Research and Learning at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) where you will gain skills in writing an artist statement and how this can support you in submitting proposals and making applications.

This talk is part of GSOI's education daybeing held in the Hugh Lane Gallery on 1st November and you can attend the full day in person where you will have access to the complete programme of events as follows:-
The day starts with a guided tour of the magnificent stained glass room by a member of the Hugh Lane team which will be followed by a workshop with Sheena Barrett, Head of Research and Learning at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) on how to write your artist statement to support submissions and proposals.
In the afternoon we will have a guided tour of the current exhibition More Power to You about the hugely influential figure in Irish Art, Sarah Purser. The day finishes with a talk and demonstration by Philip Lauterbach, one of Ireland's most experienced interior and advertising photographers who will help you to get the most out of your camera phone when taking shots of your work.
