Join the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., for "Reclaiming Our Narrative: Black Women leading the way in wellness, wealth, and wisdom." Waikinya Clanton, director of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Mississippi state office, will keynote. Clanton has served as senior adviser to the Democratic National Committee chair, national executive director of the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women, and was a key aide to U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi. She also served as an equity adviser on race, gender, policy and public engagement for social networking company Nextdoor and cosmetics retailer Sephora.
