We’re taking it all the way back to the era of distortion, flannel, and beautiful chaos. Grunge Night returns, and this year we’re filling the entire venue with the sound, spirit, and sweat of the 90s. Upstairs at Dead Witch, Skitch Hiker lead a lineup of live bands tearing into the heavy, sludgy, fuzz‑drenched side of the genre.... the kind of riffs that shaped basements, garages, and dive bars. Expect nods to the giants like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Hole, and Stone Temple Pilots, alongside tributes to the cult heroes of Mudhoney, Babes in Toyland, L7, Screaming Trees, Tad, Melvins and favourites only true obsessives talk about at 2am.Downstairs in the main bar, acoustic artists and DJs will be spinning everything from the classics to the obscure, the B‑sides, the soundtrack cuts, the songs that lived on mixtapes and scratched CDs.
This year, every dollar of your $10+ entry goes to Lifeline. Grunge has always been about honesty, vulnerability, and saying the things we’re not supposed to say out loud. Lifeline carries that same ethos, offering free, confidential support to anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, or crisis. Their phone and text services run every hour of every day, providing real human connection when it matters most. Supporting them feels true to the music, the community, and the people who walk through our doors.
We’ve got Happy Hour drink specials 7pm–8pm and again 12am–1am, plus the full Ding Dong Lounge food menu available all night to keep you fuelled.
Come scream, sing, sway, and support something real. Let’s make noise for a cause.
