About this Event
The aim of GRRRit (a FORGED project at The Warren) was to empower young women and marginalised genders aged between 16 to 25 and to improve the safety and community relationships within Hull's music scene.
Group sessions were held with young women and marginalised genders where they explored their experiences of Hull nightlife and gigs around the city.
An anonymous questionnaire was also launched to collect thoughts and feedback from members of the public.
25 venue staff and event organisers in Hull are now accredited with The Good Night Out Campaign and we have developed an Event Safety and Sexual Violence Response Policy for local promoters and venues to use in their spaces.
We invite you to this event to join us in celebrating the findings of this project, with guest talks from Mira Rumianceva (Hull Girlies), Jenni Harrison (Pink + Red), Zahra Haji Fath Ali Tehrani (YWMP) and a DJ set from Philly McAndrew.
Food and soft drinks will also be provided.
This event is open all genders.
