He is the Sr. Marketer for events, tourism, and hospitality at TINT, the community-powered marketing platform. He is the founder and principal consultant of SDMRamirez, an event marketing agency. He was selected as the 2022 Texas Festivals and Events Association Young Professional of the Year. He serves on the International Festivals and Events Association Foundation board along with the Texas Festival and Events Association board. He is a marketing mentor and facilitator for organizations nationwide, including Break-Fast and Launch Culinary Accelerator, gener8r (Generator) cybersecurity incubator, Texas Event Management Institute, and the University of Texas at San Antonio Institute for Economic Development.
