Growing Uptown: June Workshop

We’re going garden to table! Join us for an exciting culinary experience at our Growing Uptown June where participants will have the opportunity to create a delicious Chopped Broccoli and Chickpea Salad! Not only will attendees get to enjoy the process of making this nutritious dish, but they will also learn about the importance of composting and how to effectively compost at home. Our knowledgeable instructors will share valuable insights on composting, teaching you how to reduce food waste and create nutrient-rich soil for your garden.

¡Del jardin a la mesa! Únase a nosotros para una experiencia culinaria emocionante en nuestro taller Cultivando en Washington Heights de junio, donde los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de crear una deliciosa ensalada de brócoli picado y garbanzos.
Los participantes no solo podrán disfrutar del proceso de elaboración de este platillo nutritivo, sino que también aprenderán sobre la importancia del compostaje y cómo compostar de manera efectiva en casa. Nuestros instructores capacitados compartirán valiosos conocimientos sobre el compostaje, enseñándole cómo reducir el desperdicio de alimentos y crear un suelo rico en nutrientes para su huerto.
