Growing Together: Postpartum Recovery & Baby Support Group
Postpartum recovery isn’t meant to be done alone — and neither is learning how to support your baby’s development. Growing Together is a 6-week guided support series led by the expert physical therapists at District Pelvic Health and Playtime PT, created to support both you and your baby during the early months after birth.
Each week, you’ll receive practical education, hands-on guidance, and space to connect with other new parents as we cover the most common (and most confusing) postpartum and infant topics — all in one place, with trusted professionals. Each week will also include plenty of time to ask all your questions!
Weekly Topics Include:
- Postpartum Pelvic Floor Recovery – actual information and tips for your healing down there,and what’s normal vs. not
- GI Support – guidance for gassiness, reflux, and feeding-related discomfort
- Tummy Time – making it easier, more effective, and less stressful
- Activity & Exercise Progression – how to safely return to movement and exercise
- Purposeful Play (Parent + Baby) – supporting your baby's development through intentional play
- Sleep Support – naps, overnight sleep, and realistic strategies for the whole family
📅 We will meet weekly on Thursdays from 11:00-11:45am at KiPS Family Gymnastics in Falls Church, VA. The support group dates for this series are:
