Growing the Future: eSTEM Urban Farming at The Heritage Farm

iUrban Teen partners with Heritage Farm to create a hands-on, immersive experience where teens connect with the land, their food, and their community.

Participants will take an active role in selecting, planting, nurturing, and harvesting crops, gaining a deeper understanding of where food comes from. Along the way, they will explore soil health and composting practices, and study the role of beneficial insects and pests within a thriving ecosystem.

The experience culminates in a meaningful celebration, where students share the fruits of their labor with family and community—highlighting not only what they’ve grown, but what they’ve learned.
