The Irish Australian Support Association of Queensland is pleased to be hosting this event in partnership with GROW mental well-being programs
Becoming a mother is a transformative but often stressful time in a woman’s life. While there is great joy there can be a loss of freedom and the stress of increased responsibility on your relationship. It takes a village to raise a child. But what happens if your village is on the other side of the world?
The Growing Resilience Program can connect you with other mothers who are experiencing the same issues so you can support each other. Throughout this program, you will form meaningful connections and build your tribe.
You will also learn practical skills that you can use to problem-solve as you navigate motherhood.
The program is free and available in partnership with IASAQ.
There are 3 sessions to this workshop :
•Session 1 Friday 28th June: Uncertainty and Feeling Overwhelmed
•Session 2 Friday 12th July: Exercise as mental health medicine and managing loss and gaining perspective.
•Session 3 Friday 26th July : Managing feelings and healthy relationships during stressful times.
