Micro-greens are a great and nutritious addition to a salad or used as a garnish to make even the simplest meal fancy. The best thing about them is that you can grow them inside - apartment dwellers rejoice! In this workshop we’ll cover everything you need to know to get started growing your own micro-greens at home. You’ll get to sow a tray at the workshop which you can take home with you.REGISTRATION REQUIRED SIGN UP HERE: https://kaicycle.org.nz/workshops/growingmicrogreens
This is a koha workshop and we ask you to pay what you can afford. If that’s a gold coin that is completely fine! If you can afford more we really appreciate it - we are a charity and rely on donations to be able to carry out our mahi. Koha can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.
This workshop is part of our monthly Community Open Day, which happens on the first Saturday of every month in Spring, Summer, and Autumn! Each month our open day includes a working bee, farm tour, koha workshop, and a table with a range of produce, compost, and seedlings for sale. Come along for as much or as little of the day as you would like and keep an eye out for additional community day activities such as yoga, arts and crafts, and music in the māra.
