About this Event
This workshop series offers practical, field‑tested guidance on some of the most important challenges facing city trees today—including construction impacts, root conflicts, tree inventory standards, and nursery stock quality.
Through a blend of expert-led presentations and interactive activities, participants will learn how to assess and mitigate construction‑related tree damage, diagnose root‑related infrastructure issues, conduct consistent and useful tree inventories, and evaluate nursery stock using Florida’s Grades and Standards. The day concludes with a collaborative scenario challenge where teams apply skills from all four sessions to solve a realistic urban forestry problem. CEUs will be available.
Whether you’re new to municipal tree management or looking to refine your technical expertise, this workshop provides actionable tools you can take back to your community to strengthen and support a healthy, resilient urban canopy.
