About this Event
What if you could grow fresh, healthy food using 90% less water - right at home, in a classroom, or in your community?
Join Seeds for Thought, an Enactus Southampton team, for an interactive, hands-on hydroponics workshop where you'll discover how modern, sustainable farming really works.
No soil. Less water. Great results.
In this workshop, you'll:
• Learn the basics of hydroponics - an innovative growing method that uses up to 90% less water than traditional farming
• Build a simple hydroponic system using every day, 100% recycled materials
• Understand why sustainable farming matters for climate change, food security, and protecting our planet
This session is designed to be:
✔ Beginner-friendly
✔ Engaging and practical
✔ Suitable for all ages (younger children may need adult support)
You'll leave with real skills, clear knowledge, and the confidence to grow your own food sustainably; whether that's on a windowsill, for a school project, or as part of a community initiative.
Come curious. Grow sustainably.
