🍅 Growing delicious, sun-ripened tomatoes may be easier than you think! Join us for a fun and interactive & formative evening all about tomatoes—featuring Santa Clara County Master Gardener volunteer and tomato expert Lisa Blickenstaff, along with Jo Smith and our very own Sarah Mitchell.

You'll learn everything you need to know to grow tomatoes successfully right here in the Santa Clara Valley, including:
✅ How to choose the right tomato varieties
✅ Tips for planting, feeding, and caring for your plants
✅ When and how to harvest for peak flavor

WGGC members: You’re invited to participate in an exciting Master Gardener tomato research trial. Choose from three new varieties, grow them at home, and report your results (like flavor, vigor, and fruit maturity) using a simple plant testing app. Details will be shared at the event—this is a great way to support gardening research in our own backyard!
