About this Event
Presented by Young Audicenms of Louisiana, this event will feature dynamic family energizers led by YALA teaching artists and local educators, interactive arts and literacy activities, and community resource tables offering information on education, health, financial wellness, and family support services. Attendees can also enjoy live demonstrations, giveaways, local cuisine and refreshments.
Interactive Performances include: Watoto African Dance, Zumba with Kelly White, YALA BabyArtsPlay Performers, and Moderator/DJ “Coach Mike” Dunkley.
Participating organizations and businesses include Delgado, Inclusive Care, Jefferson Parish and New Orleans Public Libraries, Primerica, Credit Human and LA Fair Housing Action Center.
Grow Together Fest is open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend either or both events.
