Marking Winter Solstice (on the 21st) where the longest night of winter will be behind us and the light will start to creep back in.
About this Event

In the Winter the trees lose their leaves and appear lifeless but really they are rooting down finding sustenance for the growth and expansion that is still to come.
Yule is a time for , remembrance, connection & celebration.

The Event includes:

  • Mixed Sharing Circle
  • Ritual
  • Yogic & Somatic Movement
  • Reflection - look back on the years joy and sorrow
  • Journaling Prompts
  • Opportunity to share in a circle (if you want to & it feels right)
  • Deep Rest & Mediation in candle light

We will meet in the light of the day and leave after the sun has set.

Yule is also a time for reflection, taking stock of the year behind us, reflecting on what went well, our successes, joy as well as what was difficult, challenging or painful.

This event is a mixed circle that is open to everybody. There will be gentle movement, reflective and journaling prompts, the opportunity for circle work where we share some of ourselves and our reflections, intention setting that will be marked ceremoniously by fire and ending with deep nourishing restorative yoga and gilded meditation.

Regardless of where our bloodline comes from in the world, our ancient ancestors lived there lives in rhythm with the cyclically seasons, tides, the sun, moon & stars,  in our modern society we have lost our way and the presence of  ritual and ceremony have slipped through our fingers like forgotten gains of sands.

Does your Animal Body long for these practices?

A ritual is an action or a a series of actions that are carried out intentionally. A ceremony is a thoughtful event for a special time or occasion that contains a ritual.
