This hands-on weekend workshop will allow you to walk away with a personalised plan to turn your yard into food. If you’ve ever looked at your yard and thought, “this could be doing more,” this workshop is for you.
You’ll gain practical skills in property design, surveying, mapping, food growing, composting, and rain harvesting. It is beginner-friendly, empowering, and immediately useful. You’ll learn how to live with the land, not just on it.
Participants will leave with:
-A hand-drawn design for their property
-New skills in surveying, mapping, and land design
-Knowledge and expert advice to grow food, compost, and collect the rain

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
Friday evening (6–9pm):
Orientation and introductions. Learn Property Design 101, how natural systems work, and how this weekend will change how you see your property.
Saturday (9am–4pm):
Full day of training and design. Sun, water, soil, food systems. You’ll start mapping your property, learn growing techniques, and get tips that save money and time.
Sunday (9am–4pm):
Your design comes together. Personal guidance and feedback throughout. You leave with a hand-drawn plan built for your land, your space, and your life. We also have 3 guest speakers.
