This event is FREE with limited tickets. Due to limited amount of people who can be in the community garden at a time, please arrive at the door 15 minutes early with proof of registration.
About Grow Brooklyn and Jane Bailey Memorial Community Garden:
- Grow Brooklyn is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving low to middle-income individuals and families by providing FREE legal services (i.e: wills, living wills, health care proxy, estate planning, and power of attorney), tax prep for families and individuals and self-employed/small business owners, and financial literary. Grow Brooklyn has been committed to serving the people since 2002.
- Jane Bailey Memorial Community Garden is a beloved neighborhood garden for over 30 years. The site hosts educational programming, health and fitness classes, movie nights, live music, dancing, general events, and informal gatherings. The space is run voluntarily by local residents and is open regularly to the public.
RESTRICTIONS:
- No dogs, drugs, alcohol, or smoking is allowed
- Children must be monitored by an adult at all times
- Discarding garbage is a must to keep the garden clean at all times
