Join Blaque Coffee Cares Foundation for a hands-on Conservation & Leadership experience at the zoo! This Grow & Know Workshop is designed for teens ages 13-18 to explore wildlife, conservation, and leadership through a structured zoo experience.

Participants will engage in hands-on learning, group discussions, and real-world observation to better understand how they can lead and protect the environment.

What Participants Will Experience:

✅ Explore zoo exhibits with a purpose

✅ Learn about conservation and ecosystems

✅ Complete a guided activity packet

✅ Deveop a personal conservation action plan

Why It Matters

Youth are not too young to lead change. This experience helps participants build awareness, responsibility, and confidence to take action in their communities.

8:30-9AM | Check-In, Breakfast & Welcome
Participant check-in, materials distribution (T-shirt, bag, packet), and light breakfast
9:30-12PM | Guided Zoo Exploration (Part 1)
Fun interactive small group exploration, observation and note-taking, focus on animal habitants & biodiversity
12:00 - 1:15PM | Lunch & Hydration Check
Rest & regroup.
1:15 - 2:30PM | Guided Zoo exploration (Part 2)
Continued exploration, conservation-focused discussions, and engagement activities
2:30– 3:15PM Reflection & Conservation Action Plan
Youth discussions, youth complete action plan, share key takeaways.
3:15-4PM | Wrap-up & dismissal
Final reflections, packet completion check (bonus item), pickup and departure
Schedule may adjust slightly based on group pace and zoo experience.
