Join us on Tuesday mornings during term time for outdoor nature adventures. Each week we will go on a nature walk around the allotments looking for seasonal treasures such as birds, insects, trees, worms, snails and spiders, wild flowers, leaves, animal footprints as well as admire all the fruit and vegetables that plot holders are growing. There is a micro orchard on site, honey bee hives and a beautiful wooden hut where we will stop for nature crafts. Children will then have an opportunity to play on the grass before heading home. All activities are child led by forest school practitioner Naomi with over 10 years experience in Environmental education. Pushchair and wheelchair friendly. Toilets on site.We will meet at the pedestrian entrance to the allotments on Sunny Bank Road. Meet at 9:55 for a 10am start. Sessions are mostly outdoors, so all attendees must be dressed for the days weather.
