Join us for our 8th year of GROW on Saturday, April 12th at 9:00am at Montage Mountain! Continuing with the big effort to reforest our mountain, we’ll be planting 6-8 foot trees this spring! Our focuses will be in key areas that are impacted by wind and runoff throughout the winter and shoulder seasons. GROW trees help mitigate erosion from water drainage, block wind from wearing on the snowpack, and ultimately lower our carbon footprint by using less energy to make snow.
Now’s the time to sign up and join the crew! We need hands for projects big and small, all ages are encouraged! Volunteers receive a limited edition GROW shirt and a free lunch will be provided inside Slocum Hollow accompanied by live music after the work is done.
