Join the Sierra Club and the Lackawanna County Environmental Office for a special cleanup near PNC Field, home of the Railriders, on Montage Mountain. We will be cleaning up the wooded areas surrounding the parking lot and the roadside. This event is family friendly! We are thrilled to have the support of the Lackawanna County Commissioners, who have offered the use of the Commissioners' box to the first 12 people who REGISTER IN ADVANCE and attend the cleanup. So register early for a chance to see the ballgame that night for FREE! This event will include a litter study where we deep dive into looking at what the litter we find consists of and hold conversations about the effects of litter on the environment. If you have a Community Cleanup Shirt from a previous cleanup please wear that. You are welcome to bring your own gloves and trash grabbers. Trash bags, gloves, vests, and road signs are provided by Keep NEPA Beautiful.
