🌿 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼?
Kambo is a traditional Amazonian practice using the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor tree frog. It has been worked with by Indigenous tribes for generations as a cleansing and fortifying ritual.
Kambo is not a psychedel*c substance and is fully legal. It works through bioactive peptides that interact with the body in a rapid and intense, yet relatively short-lived process.
There are many misconceptions about Kambo. While often referred to as “frog poison,” it is more accurately understood as a complex secretion containing peptides that create a strong physiological response when applied in a ceremonial setting. These peptides surprisingly work very well within the human body.

⚙️ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀
Kambo is applied through small superficial burns on the skin. From there, the peptides enter the lymphatic system and begin working with the body.
Common physiological responses may include:
• Heat and flushing
• Increased heart rate
• Nausea and purging
• Sweating and release
These effects typically come on quickly and pass within a short period of time. (~20-25min)

• Open to self-inquiry, rather than seeking a quick fix or external solution
• Ready to participate in both the ceremony and the integration process afterward
• Respectful of the medicine, the container, and the group space
• Able to follow preparation guidelines and communicate honestly during screening
• Not being pressured or influenced by others to participate, and feel a genuine inner “yes”
