About this Event
Welcome to the 2025 Toronto 48 Hour Film Project – Premiere Screenings: Group H!
Join us for an incredibly fun time out at the cinema. We’re screening brand-new short films made start-to-finish in a single weekend—the good, the bold, and the gloriously unexpected. The Revue Cinema will be full of filmmakers, friends, families, and film lovers, all discovering what’s possible in 48 hours.
You’ll watch 12 short films (each ~7 minutes; total program ~90 minutes), then stick around for brief Q&As with the teams. While you’re still in the theatre, you’ll help decide our Audience Favourite by ranking your top three films. The top-scoring film wins a $100 Vistek Gift Certificate—plus bragging rights—announced right at the end of the screening.

This is why we love it: over 16 years we’ve premiered nearly 1,500 short films, and there’s always something to love in every single one. These films are shown where they’re meant to be seen—on the big screen, with the people who made them and the people who cheer them on. That mix of craft, risk, surprise, and live-audience energy? It’s our favourite part of the 48HFP.
Tickets: $15 + HST & Eventbrite fees
Doors: open at 3:30 PM • Showtime: 4:00 PM sharp (arrive early to grab your seat and popcorn)
Note: Films are unrated and not suitable for children.
Where: Revue Cinema (400 Roncesvalles Ave.)

Whether you’re on a team, friends with a participating filmmaker, a supporter of the scene, or you just love a good story, this is the best time out at the cinema. Everyone is welcome, and a full theatre is the best theatre! We can’t wait to see you.
