About this Event
Join us for a hybrid event featuring Dr. Gyasmine George-Williams, whose pedagogy is rooted in critical race theory, athlete activism, and intersectional justice. Her work challenges dominant narratives in sport and society, creating space for thoughtful dialogue around race, media, visibility, and power.
Together with her students, Dr. George-Williams brings these conversations to life through the SportsCrit Lab podcast, examining athlete activism, media representation, and the ways race shapes experiences on and off the field. This event invites participants to engage critically while staying mentally grounded and authentically visible.
