What's it all about?A unique event for 1/10th touring, frontie or rally chassis cars. We will be utilising both our off road and on road tracks on the same day, using the same chassis on each, with the emphasis on being a FUN event.
Camping Saturday Night Allowed.
The Rules!
1. Any commercially available 1/10th touring, frontie or rally chassis from any manufacturer.
2. Bodyshells must be representations of full size cars.
3. Any brushed motor, or any brushless motor down to 13.5 turn. 2s Lipo (8.4 Volt) Maximum Battery Limit
4. Any commercially available 1/10 wheels and tyres. No buggy wheels or tyres, all must be on road or 'Rally' type.
5. Only one set of wheels and tyres can be used for the entire race day for both off and on road heats. Tyres and wheels will be marked before round 1. Changes allowed due to breakages at race directors discretion.
6. The same chassis must be used for the on and off road rounds. Chassis will be marked before round 1.
7. Changing and swapping of shocks between off road and on road rounds will also be disallowed.
8. Penalties will be issued if any driver abusing the above rules. Penalties will be at the race directors discretion. This is a fun event, and we hope to be issuing no penalties on the day, your cooperation will make this day a good 'un!
9. Have Fun! Please enjoy the day for what it is. A unique opportunity to race on 2 different surfaces. Few other clubs can offer this!
Race Weekend Format
SATURDAY AUGUST 1st
• Gates open 10.30am Approx and track set up. (all help appreciated)
• 12noon till 4pm, free practice for Grip & Slip entrants on both tracks only. This may be run in heat order, numbers depending.
• Normal club meeting from 5pm. Rally cars can be run in the club meeting. Similar format, odd numbered rounds on road, even numbered off road. Normal club race fees apply.
SUNDAY AUGUST 2nd
• Gates open 7.30am latest.
• 8.30am 2 heats of practice 1 off road and 1 on road. (Numbers depending)
• 9.30am Drivers Briefing
• 9.45am Round 1 starts. No further changing of wheels and tyres, chassis or shocks will be allowed.
• Rounds 1 & 3 On Road
• Rounds 2 & 4 Off Road
• 2 rounds of finals. Round 1 On Road, Round 2 Off Road.
• Qualifying will be round by round.
• Both finals to count for overall position. Winner will score 1 point down to 10 points for 10th position. Scores will be added together from both finals. Lowest score wins. Tie breaks will go to qualifying position to decide final position.
