April is National Stress Awareness Month.Peoria Public Library has partnered with Full Circle Wellness and Counseling to provide two separate grief management workshops -- one for ages 8 to 13, and one for adults.
** These will be held concurrently, but in separate rooms.
For ages 8-13:
Registered Drama Therapist Julie Peters, LCPC, will help participant learn to identify and understand grief while discovering practical techniques for navigating their emotions. No drama experience required, this is NOT a performance.
For adults:
Gain tools and confidence to navigate difficult conversations about death, dying, and grief with children.
This insightful workshop, led by Seth Errion, LCPC, a local therapist certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying, and Bereavement, focuses on helping adults approach these sensitive topics with care and understanding. Participants will also explore ways to express their own grief, creating space for mutual healing and connection.
