About this Event
Grief Circle & Emotional Integration
This circle is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to process their grief. Participants will have a compassionate space to explore and express their grief in a non-judgmental setting, followed by a guided activity such as painting, automatic writing, movement or a guided visualisation.
These circles promote bonding, communication and social integration. The act of expressing oneself in the presence of others who simply bear witness activates the resilience that resides within everyone. The aim is to create an environment of empathy and active listening, encouraging expression through prompts. The sessions will focus on the present moment, our breath and our body.
Please note that this is not a counselling session and I am not here to fix or give advice. Instead, I provide a safe container where participants can be held in community, fully express themselves, be seen, be heard, and have the opportunity to integrate their experiences.
**21st of November Circle:
As we continue through the darker months, our grief can often feel more present, seeking space to be expressed and understood. In our next circle, we’ll be using painting as a channel to connect with and release our emotions, an invitation to explore grief visually and creatively.
No artistic skill is needed. This activity is about allowing your feelings to take form on the page in whatever way they come. Through colors, textures, and shapes, you’ll have a chance to express your grief in a supportive space. Each stroke can be a moment to acknowledge, release, and honour what you carry.
About me:
I’ve earned my qualification in grief support through the EDTe online school in Spain. I believe that grief often resides in the body, and integrating movement and creative expression—such as writing, painting, and dancing—is an effective way to release and process these emotions. My approach also incorporates a connection with nature, which helps participants stay grounded and present through sensory experiences. As a photographer with a deep interest in spirituality, writing and dancing, I weave these elements into my work to create a supportive environment that fosters emotional connection and resilience.
