A monthly guided community circle hosted by The Denver Deathcare Collective.
Where grief is tended and death is cared.
This month's grief circle will be guided by Lex Chamizo of Unveil with Lex.
The Unfolding of our Circle:
In a nourishing space with each other we will return to the wisdom of prayer and sound.
Ear Acupuncture will be offered; This gentle and ancient medicine will support the opening of emotions that come with grief.
Together we will share our prayers for our loved ones and what we wish to receive for ourselves. You are invited to reflect beforehand or write down prayers you would like to share circle.
Our grief will be offered as a prayer through song and drumming, connecting us to the heartbeat of the earth.
Who It’s For
This circle is for anyone grieving a loved one that is sick, a death, recent or long ago, sudden or expected, collective, human or animal. All are welcome.
What to Bring
- An offering for the altar
- Water , journal, pen and anything else that feels supportive or brings you comfort.
